FREE National Occupational Health & Safety Certification Programme – Official Participation Guide

For days, we've been discussing workplace safety—understanding your rights, identifying workplace hazards, preventing accidents, and protecting yourself and others. Now, the day has finally arrived! 🎓 📅 Date: Saturday, 25th July 2026 ⏰ Time: 1:00 PM – 4:30 PM 💻 Online: Live via Zoom 🆓 Participation: 100% FREE 🕐 Theory Session (1:00 PM – 2:40 PM) 📍 F1B1 Lecture Room (FIMS Block), UMaT Tarkwa. All non-UMaT participants and those outside the Tarkwa catchment area should join via Zoom. ☕ A 20-minute break will be observed before proceeding to the practical session. 🔥 Live Fire Safety Demonstration (3:00 PM – 4:30 PM) 📍 UMaT Main School Field, facilitated by the Ghana National Fire Service. 🌍 Can't make it to Tarkwa? Join LIVE via Zoom from anywhere in Ghana or beyond and enjoy the same training, learning experience, and certificate opportunity as participants attending physically. 👷 Dress Code (UMaT Physical Participants): Reflective Vest (Reflector) and Safety Boots. 📌 Important Notice: Physical attendance is compulsory for all registered UMaT participants in Tarkwa Campus, near by people from Tarkwa may join. Attendance will be taken, and participants outside the UMaT Tarkwa campus are expected to join online.
